We continuously consume artificial additives in our food. We breathe pollution. We are exposed to chemicals, pesticides and cigarette smoke. All of these toxins are getting in the way of our health.

It is no surprise to most that the environment that we live in is becoming more and more toxic as time goes on. This varies depending on where you live and work. But don’t be fooled into thinking that you are immune to exposure.

Here are few questions to ask yourself so that you can understand toxic exposure in more detail:

  1. Do you have any silver fillings in your mouth (or have you ever had them)?
  2. Do you use deodorant (most contain aluminum)?
  3. Do you eat processed food?
  4. Do you fruits and vegetables?

Most of us would answer yes to all of those questions. The truth is that toxins store themselves primarily in the fatty tissue of the body. This includes the fat under your skin, around your organs, and worst of all in your brain which is 65% fat by weight. Heavy metal toxicity is one of the hottest topics in medical literature today. It is talked about in conditions such as alzheimer’s, autism and a host of others.

It needs to be understood that many toxins don’t just come and go. They “bio-accumulate” in our bodies. By this I mean they are accumulated over time and most are not taken out by the body because they attach so readily to our cells and it takes specific processes to remove them. Also, considering that most toxins are filtered through the liver and dumped into the small intestine for removal. This is where it gets tricky. The primary role of the small intestine is “absorption”. That’s right, now you are getting it. Toxins are dumped in the intestine, but if they are not bound by something, the majority if not all will be reabsorbed and redistributed back into your body. You must use an appropriate binding agent to remove toxins (which we do).

So, detoxing is not as simple as taking a cleansing product, enema, colon cleanse or an herbal tea. These product do not detox at the cellular level.

Let’s take mercury for example. Mercury is readily put into our amalgam (silver) dental fillings and is regulated to be safe, however when they are removed they have to be exposed of much like a biohazard. So long story short, don’t insult our intelligence by telling us that mercury is safe in our dental work, vaccines, etc. Mercury is a know neurotoxin that directly attacks the brain. The most devastating attack occurs at the hypothalamus (which is the bridge between the brain stem and spinal cord and the higher brain centers) and the pituitary. These two control much of the hormonal system, hence hormonal dysfunction…..Isn’t this rampant in our society? Yes!

Diseases linked to mercury include:

  • Chronic Fatigue
  • Alzheimers
  • Asthma
  • ADHD
  • PMS
  • ADD
  • Depression
  • Suicidal Tendencies
  • Lupus
  • Schizophrenia
  • Insomnia
  • Parkinson’s
  • Chronic anxiety
  • Leaky gut syndrome
  • Hormonal dysfunction such as estrogen dominance
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Allergies
  • Adrenal Disorders
  • Candida/Yeast
  • Thyroid disorders
  • Dementia
  • Bipolar Dysfunctions
  • Muscular dystrophy (MD)
  • Autoimmune diseases
  • Rheumatoid Arthritis
  • Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)
